There is no denying that la Madre Tierra possesses the power to heal us. Everyone’s abuela, tía, and mamá had an arsenal of jarabes and homemade remedies that sourced its ingredients from the earth.
When you combine those potent elixirs with practices that heal the mind and soul, you begin to tap into ancestral knowledge and powers that have been lost to time. But, thankfully for us, there are healers within our comunidad doing the important work of reclaiming it in beautiful ways.
For Our Herencia Month, we’ve gathered a list of [a few] of the folx in the Latino and Latine community helping others reconnect with themselves, their heritage, and la Pachamama.
